About our education Philosophy

  • Edutainment is an important part of our philosophy. Lessons objectives are carefully designed by disguising learning with fun activities. Our edutainment curriculum will give an overwhelming advantage in skills development for the children and naturally will accelerate in their academic success.
  • Transdisciplinary thinking and S.T.E.A.M approach is the 21st century directives. It is not enough to be proficient in a single field of expertise. Our programmes focus on holistic skill development.
  • We emphasize on learning agility to prepare students to have the capability to adapt to changes quickly and efficiently. We strongly believe in exposing students to multiple programmes of different nature in order for them to experience the quick changes made from the real world.

About the Team

  • The team was established with everyone coming from distinctly different backgrounds. A handful of us came from corporate sector in engineering and technology field. In the process of expanding, we have also added sales and marketing personnel. And not forgetting we have early childhood teachers that are in the education sector throughout their careers
  • We started to debate and argue over whether technical skillsets or soft skillsets are needed to survive for our next generation of children. Those coming from technical background went for technical skill (those listed in the 4th technological revolution) as key survival skillsets require in the 21st century. Whereas sales and education sector insisted that soft skillset will take the children further in the next century
  • After several rounds of market research and consultation on MOE directives and industrial demands, we have finally arrived at the conclusion that combining both soft skill and technical skills is the only way to excel in this 21st century planet. Transdisciplinary learning and learning agility has never become so important in this generation. The team has developed curriculum to impart these disciplines with a clear mission to prepare the next generation of students to these rapid changing world.

Every child is born with an innate intelligence that makes them perceive the world in their own way. Parents may question if this intelligence is sufficient for them to succeed in academics. The answer lies within the child and how we tap into their talents and intelligence. At STEP, we believe every child can be a little Einstein of their own by treating them each as a unique individual and adapting our system according to their needs.
